365c 116, A Cross a Day. A cross indicating emergency care here

Today's cross is a sticker, but on a door into the hospital.  i have really been thinking about the idea of cross as a symbol and symbol to for medical help-Red Cross or a tattoo on a biker.  What do we mean when where crosses?  What is our purpose of having one on our walls or around our necks?

Today's cross comes as a found cross form B (a cross located in an unexpected place).  This cross is located in the barber/hair shop i get my hair cut.

365c 114 A Cross a Day, a found cross on the paint of a vehicle

Today's cross is a form of a found cross on the paint of a vehicle.  i have realized there are actually found crosses in two forms.  Finding a cross in the middle of something clearly not meant to be a cross and the other the finding of a cross where one does not expect it to be.  This found cross is form B, the second type of found crosses.

365c 113 A Cross a Day, A logo sign hidden cross

Today's cross is found several in this logo.....got to use those cross hunter eyes.  i like finding crosses in logo's or a shadow or in a tree.  If you find a cross somewhere, take a picture......use that cell phone camera and then picture message it to me, you might see it in this a cross a day effort.

365c 112 A Cross a Day, Small bead separator cross

Today's cross is made of small bead separator's.  i can use them in making Anglican prayer beads.  Anglican prayers beads are different then Catholic prayer beads.  There are some really cool Anglican prayer bead prayers and of course a different usage then its' Catholic counterpart.

365c 111 A Cross a Day, Milagro like trinkets cross

Today's cross is a trinket-Milagro Cross.  i liked the various items in the resources i ordered on line at Amazon there were a few others, but they just did not fit to me.  i can use these trinkets in various other art projects, least of which could be attached to a wooden cross.

365c 110 A Cross a Day, Pentecost Fire Dove Duct tape

Today's cross was motivated by the fire appearance to be a "Pentecost dove cross".  i liked this simple design.  Hand drew the cross on back side of the tape and then cut it out with a cutting blade.

Today's cross is a simple cross made from a roll of duct tape.  If you did not know perhaps you will see, the various new types of duct tape and the silver still exists, but is boring now.  i really like this nature/tree duct tape.

Today's cross is a found cross in the sun shining thru various blinds.  The horizontal bar is hard to see, but it just whisked over me as i walked upon this sun ray...sons' cross.

Today's cross is a sticker with a familar cartoon character in the kneeling position of prayer at the cross.  Wow, i found a whole bunch of these cross stickers in a few days.

Today's cross is a found cross on the back of a car window, but is not a memorial.  It seems that there are bunches and bunches....in reality this 365 a day deal has really done several things least of which is increased my observational skills.  This particular sticker says "Cowgirls for Christ"  the photographer could not a get a better shot safely.

365c 104, A Cross a Day, Found cross in a tat of the New Mexico Zia

Today's a tat found cross on the arm of the lady working at my grocery store.  It is actually a work in progress of the Zia which is more well known on the New Mexico state flag.  The Zia is a sun symbol and has been around since the 19th century.

Today's cross is a roadside Memorial for someone i do not know.  i am struck with wonder...who was lost, when, how, and more.  This one is located on i40 near the Eubank overpass in Albuquerque, NM.

Today's cross is another construction this is the under side of a floor of cement.  Quite a strong shape.

Today's cross is located at the Hospital where my Wound World is located.  There is a reflection but i was able to navigate a manner to take the shot and not be seen but see the crosses.

Today's cross, is a self made and tiny cross.....on Maxs' paw.  He wanted to help so he slept with his pads out and i marked a cross on it.  If you look hard you can see the little black mark on his paw.  Below is a closer shot of the not so hot cross on one of his paw pads.

365c 89, A Cross a Day, Logo-Toyota Found

Today's is cross is hidden inside this logo.  There can be two depending how you look at.  Do you see them?  i like finding crosses that are hidden within another whole piece, like a car logo.  This is the Toyota logo.  Oh, by the way it is upside down.  i like that view of them better.

Today's cross is a familiar marketing logo seen on TV and driving around your own city.  This does make me wonder what other logo's have a cross, with today's and tomorrow's found in a logo, along with the medical gauze shown earlier i am sure there are more logo's with crosses.  Will have to see what else i can find.
