Well, four days so far and i have worked on a few that will take several days and of course some quick ones as well. i like the Southwest colors of this cross. It was simple but fun to just focus on only coloring the lines best as possible and the edges as well.
i must say i have been noticing crosses as they appear naturally in the world, on shirts, stickers on cars, what athletes wear around their necks, and even tattoo's. Tonight, i was at a local Hobby Lobby, the art store that closes on Sunday so their employee's can spend it with their families. As i went to the parking lot and got into my car, i noticed a few parking rows over a gentlemen sitting in his car. He was obviously waiting for someone. He got out of the car walked over to my row, picked up a hobby lobby shopping bag someone must have set down to put more in the car or a kid or something. i noticed he had a shirt on with a big red cross on the back. He looks into the sack, and heads back to his car. i am waiting for him to turn and take it into the store, but know.....he took the sack, opened his trunk and put it inside and got back in his car. Five or six minutes later a women and her adult male child came out each carrying a bag with their purchases and the man drove off. Wow, i wondered what that cross on the back and the words on the front were communicating because his actions were not very kind toward his neighbor.
May you cross your creative inklings today.
LFS, liz
