365c 63, A Cross a Day, (originally #12 on 24 May 2012)

Today's cross is green for the Season after Pentecost.  This cross is most commonly called a Jerusalem Cross, but sometimes and places call it the Cross of Palestine.  A Jerusalem Cross has five crosses which represent the stigmata, five wounds of Christ.  Crusaders used this emblem often and they put it on a coat of arms of Jerusalem in 1099.
